POSTED DATES OF TRAVEL ARE APPROXIMATE.

This sign-up is to be CONSIDERED for participation in the RMI travel to London in May of 2025 . The deadline to apply is November 1 and it will not be extended.

Among other things, you will be expected to:

1.  Take a 1 hour course in Spring 2025 that will meet on Tuesday evenings at 5:00.
2. Procure a valid US Passport before the date of travel.

3. Provide your own spending money for the trip (Dr. Wells suggests $1,000 so that you can afford to things on your free days.)

4. Commit to traveling, and, if you cancel for ANY reason, reimburse us for the full cost of your airfare, hotel, and other expenses (approximately $4,000.)

Applying is not a guarantee you'll get to go .  We will select students based on certain criteria.  The final decision on who travels rests with the RMI faculty, and those decisions are final.  Travel on this trip is a privilege, and not a right.

Mandatory criteria are:

*must be an active member of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS)
*must have Risk Management & Insurance as a declared concentration by the time of travel, or, be extremely active in the RMI program and Gamma Iota Sigma, with a clear intent to declare your major.

*must be in good standing with ECU and with the RMI program, which includes regularly attending classes, arriving to classes on time, and being active in GIS.

Students meeting these criteria will then be prioritized according to many factors, including but not limited to:

*Anticipated graduation date

*Class standing

*Participation in previous Gamma Iota Sigma events

*Leadership roles played in Gamma Iota Sigma

*Total number of hours completed in the RMI concentration

*Previous travel experience with Gamma Iota Sigma
